Drying equipment placed in the cubicle area after a large commercial water loss

SERVPRO® of Rochester was called out after hours to extract water in an 18,000 square foot commercial building where a water loss occurred. The areas that were affected were cubicles, a large warehouse, bathrooms, hallways, and storage areas. Our crew was able to get out to the building immediately to prevent any further damage to their high tech equipment and important documents. Because half of the building did not have heat, the water technicians used water extraction equipment, industrial-grade dehumidifiers, and multiple different high-speed air movers to assist in the remediation. Another key piece of equipment that was used in the drying process of this job was a Phoenix Firebird. The Firebird is a machine that allows for on-demand heating to indoor and outdoor areas where heat is not available.
